In Professor Laurent Déchery’s French 101 classes, students create digital stories about their families. First they select pictures and write a script about their parents, siblings, and relatives (where they live, how old they are, their likes and dislikes.) Then the students present the stories on iMovie. Some students choose to make up a new family and use celebrities as their relatives. These stories are quite an achievement for having learned a new language for only a few months. All the students can be proud of their product.
