Meet Ashley Eickhoff, our Spanish Student Assistant Posted on September 17th, 2015 by

©Ashley EickhloffHi everyone! I’m Ashley Eickhoff, a senior Spanish major and LALACS minor. I was fortunate enough to study abroad last semester in Mexico in the beautiful city of Guanajuato, where I stayed with a host family—they were a blessing, and I couldn’t have asked for a better family of which I became a member. I hope to go back to visit them someday soon! This semester, in addition to taking classes, I’m the Spanish assistant, working in the Confer Office and as a Spanish tutor in Culpeper. After graduating in December, my plans are to have a job in a Spanish or dual language immersion school. That way I’ll be able to be surrounded by Spanish even after my time is done at Gustavus, which I will miss very much, because I’ve had the biggest support system from the Spanish department—thank you! Gracias por todo.
